Why "Old Boondock"?

The (not so) evil corporation of GreenShamrock Irish Pubs would be incomplete without Boston part. When you think Irish and Boston you inevitable come to a great classic movie of 1999, "Boondock Saints". So naturally it turned out that the vast chain of pubs (i.e. rustic "Belfast", metropolitan "Molly Malone's" and port "Grace O'Malley") has grown by yet another entity named "Old Boondock".

From the very beginning of our story back in 2010 the pub became a watering hole of choice for those who easily distinguish 7.62 from 5.45, MARPAT from Splittertarn and strikeball from airsoft (OK, that last was a joke, obviously). Friendly get-togethers for a pint or two of liquid Irish classics, with a good chew and even better stories of adventures and victories, watching an occasional game and listening to merry Irish punk music — what can be better? Sure, you wouldn't like to bring your mother-in-law here for a family reunion, but this is probably the only drawback of our pub. And we are not actually sure that it IS a drawback, you know.
